Don’t Be Asleep at the Wheel

Don’t be asleep at the wheel.  Many people go through life on cruse control or what I call asleep at the wheel.  They just flow through life without a care.  They live day to day.  In many cases paycheck to paycheck.  They are unwilling to take charge of their life.  What I mean by this is, that they will not change to make their life better.  They do just enough to get by.  Then they wonder why there are no promotions.  I myself found this way too.  I have always wanted to do my best, but at times I found myself following the herd.  So I found myself asleep at the wheel.  Then came my wake up call.   That is when I learned about personal development.  This when it all started to change for me.  It was a slow process at first.  I am thankful for the network marketing industry, for that is were I learned about personal development.  This were I was trying to improve my income and to stop the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck.  There  are many great books that I have read since starting my journey.  I am going to give the you my top five books.

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

The Go-Getter by Peter B. Kyne

The Magic of Thinking Big  by David J. Schwartz

The Dream Giver  by  Bruce Wilkinson

The Business of the 21st Century  by Robert Kiyosaki

These are just a few that have have helped me get the right mindset.  I also spend time doing spiritual growth.  Because that is what matter most.  To be open to hearing God give you, your next assignment.

The Provider

The provider is the Lord. He is well able to provide! We can look through out the Bible and see His provision. We can look first at the story of the children of Israel coming out of Egypt. How He fed them for forty years in the wilderness. There are many others we could look at too. There are a number of them. The Lord is still the provider! You must seek Him out and trust Him to do what His word says. He promised to provide in His word, that He would. He keeps what He promised. Many of us try to meet our own needs. By working harder and longer. We should look at Genesis 26. Here we see the story of Isaac. There is a famine in the land. God tells Isaac to sow in famine. Then Isaac reaps a hundredfold harvest. Are we willing to be like Isaac and do what God tells us? So that He can provide for us a hundredfold return like Isaac got? There is no risk when you follow God! God is our provider when we get all the stuff out of the way. It starts here, Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Pull Down Those Walls

Tear down those walls that keep us from God’s best.
I have been reading Max Lucado’s book “Out Live Your Life“.  It has been really pulling me into some

deep thought about my own walk with Christ.  How much do we miss as Christians?  We all have walls

that we put up to protect us.  Whether it is from the hurt and pain in this world or to keep us from

getting hurt.  There are many types of walls, social walls, economic walls, and denominational walls.

The thing that all these walls can do is block us from truly loving others as Christ commanded us too!

In Max’s book, he takes a lot at what the early church did and how.  They tore down the walls that

separated them.  He uses a few examples, and one of them being Jesus at the well with the Samartan

woman.  I don’t know about you, but for many years I have wanted to do more for Christ.  There have

been walls that had to come down first and slowly over time they have come down.  We live in a time

like no other!  There is so many that are hurting and in pain.  Yes there are many dieing too!  Many

of them are children.  There no time like now for us to get out of our comfort zones and share the love of

Christ with people that are hurting and dieing.  There many ways that we can do this.  Through our

church’s we can support missionaries and other organizations, that reach those that we can not.  My

church does a 30 hour famine each year to raise funds for World Vision.  This is done by our teens.

We can all do a little and change the world for Christ!

Famine no more

What is Missing

What is missing in many families today?  I would have to say it is unconditional love.  There has been a gap placed between many families.  We live and work further apart than ever.  This started during the industrial revolution and grew after World War II ended.  There was also a big move during the Great Depression, as many traveled to find work.  I remember when I was growing up.  Having to travel to my grandparents a few times a year.  While I could jump on my bike and visit my other grandparents.  It was like this for many years until my grandparents moved to Texas.  Then I could no longer get on my bike to go visit.

Then I got married and had children of my own.  I started to see how hard it was to really visit with family.  Here we lived  in Michigan, and my children’s grandparents where in Florida and Texas.  This has caused many problems within the family.  Many are caused by misinformation or lack of information.   That caused hurt or bruised feelings.  I am sure many have had this happen to.  This were I say that there is a lack of unconditional love.  The more I study God’s word.  The more clearly I see how to love unconditionally.  It comes from being able to do what Jesus said, “For if you forgive  men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” ( Matt. 6: 14-15 NIV)

The cross that Jesus shed His blood on, represents God’s unconditional love for us.  He loved US so much that He gave His best for us!  We must do the same and give our best.  What mean by this is we need to love are families no matter what they may do or say.  To not become a offended by them.  This can be a hard task at times, but live in your faith and stand strong.  Get a hold of this by doing a study on love in the word.

How to Get a Mobile Classroom

How to get a mobile classroom?  What is a mobile classroom?  It can be you car.  Instead of listening to music everyday on your commute.  Turn your car into a classroom or a learning center.  There are so many thing that you can listen to that will help you grow.  With the advancement of technology this is possible now.  There are so many good audio trainings that are available.  That are on cd’s or ipods (mp3).  There many to choose from personal development, spiritual growth, and many others.  Then there are the books on audio.

There so really good ones from some of my favorites, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Zig Ziglar, Dani Johnson, and many more!  My favorites to help me in the faith are these, Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Creflo Dollar, and Joyce Meyer.  Just a few of them that I listen to.  Ladies these men also wives that also teach and preach the gospel.  When I first heard about turning my car into a classroom or university on wheels.  I was struggling in my faith walk.  It turned my life around and helped me to get stronger in faith and to grow more personally.

Take a chance to change your life.  Do it for 30 days and see for yourself!

How to Make Money Online

How to make money online.  There are a number of ways to make money online.  They all work, with some time and effort on your part. This will just give an overview and share a few link to some opportunities as well.

There are affiliate opportunities.  These are basically you are advertising a service or product for someone else.  Then receive a payout once someone buys or fills out a form that opt in to list.

Commission Junction : this is one that is free to join.  Which you advertise for them and they have a nice size selection to choose from.

Then there Google adSense: you can place google ads on website or blog and get paid for it.  Very easy to set up!  You can even use it with blogger.

Those are just a few affiliate programs that are out there.  Do a google search and you will find many more to choose from.  Remember to check out the company before join any opportunity.

Now this is my all time favorite one.  Network Marketing or Direct Sales.  This not because I have made a lot of money with it yet, it is because it has helped me grow into a better person.  I fell in love with this business model, because allowed me to dream again.  I had spent a number of years working from one dead end job to another and had lost my dream.  It was in 2000 I was introduced to an opportunity after answering a newspaper ad.  I joined that company and worked in every spare moment I had, and had some success.  After two years I decided to leave.  A few years later, I was introduced to another company and did that one for a time.  Then relocated after hurricane Charley.  Yes I found another opportunity, only this one was different.  They had a training system.  That system changed my life and helped me to learn about personal growth.  I started reading some great books and listening to audio recordings.  I would recommend audio recording from the late Jim Rohn, and books from Robert Kiyoski author of Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Business of the 21st Century.  There is many more books that will help you on your journey.  Many you can find at your local book store or library.

Isagenix: The world leader in nutritional cleansing, cellular replenishing, and youthful aging.  This is the company I chose to partner with to help more people.  This one was a good fit for me and company that truly cared about its associates.  The other thing that got me about this company was that the help from other members, even when they had no financial benefit!  Take a look at some success stories.  There not a better time than now to join a network marketing company, there are many to choose from and I am sure one will fit you!

God Bless Your Journey to Success in all you do!

There are So Many Hurting People

There are so many hurting people these days.  They are all looking for something.  Many have lost their jobs and others have lost their homes.  What has happened to us as a nation?  I know the pain of both, and I lost both.  I have always worked hard, but sometime that isn’t good enough to keep your job.  Then sur you can draw unemployment, but can you really live on it?  I always have had a side business in network marketing.  That one day would replace the job thing.  The problem was it wasn’t able to replace that income from the job yet.

I went through it and things would look good at times.  Then at other time it didn’t look good at all.  I did pick up work here and there, especially after my unemployment ran out.  I started this blog during this time.  I focused on my faith and that has helped a lot.  I learned more in the last couple of years than ever.  Through Bible studies and just reading some great books.  I decided to keep on keeping on!  Never, never give up!  You are never out of until you quit!  So I dusted myself off and got up ready to win!  The book says we can do all things through Christ!  That is what I intend to do!

There are many of us out there, it is time for us to take our lives back, with God’s grace.  He has a plan for us, all we need to do is seek it!  There are many opportunities out there for us, but far to many times we stand and stare at the door God closes.  We need to be looking for the new door He is opening  for us in 2012!  We are God’s recovery plan for America, have faith!

God Bless,

Jon

Dare To Be Different

Dare to be different.  In a day and age when so many things have our attention.  When I was growing up this wasn’t the case.  Television had three networks and cable was just getting started.  Now there are lots of networks all wanting your time.  Then there is all the other things, like our families, church, and jobs.  Which all are  vying for our time. So how do we dare to be different?

To do this we must learn to do the important things first.  One of things that I have learned is to sow the word of God in my life.  Turn off the television.  When you sow the word it like a farmer sowing seed in the ground.  He doesn’t seen his crop the next day.  It takes time for it to grow up from the ground.  He doesn’t go out and dig up his seed to see if it’s growing.  He waits and waters it.  Once it starts to show, he doesn’t go out and harvest it.  Now he waits until it is full grown to harvest it.

We all have a choice, we can dare to different or not.  Many people have settled for less than God’s best.  He has a plan for each of us!  We all must take the time to find out what it is.  What job or business we suppose to be in.  Where we are to live and attend church.  We must take the time fellowship with Him to learn His plans for our lives.  We need to be like David and face our giants in life, that is how we become different!
