Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on his faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret-it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.
Psalm 37:3-9

The Daily Verse
The Spirit of the Lord (is) upon Me, because He has anointed Me (the Anointed One, the Messiah) to preach the good news ( the Gospel ) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as to delivered those who are oppressed (who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity), To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord (the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound). Why Start A Home Business
Why start a home business? There are a number of reasons why you should. Here are a few. There are tax advantages for having a home business. There are things you can deduct from your taxes. That can lower your taxes. You should consult your tax advisor to see how this could be a benefit to you or not. The other benefit from working at home is the no commute. Some even talk about how they work in their underwear. The best part is the flexible schedule. Work around those important family events, that we used to miss because of the job.
The other thing about starting a home business. You can work a few hours a week, while still working a job. This is how many have started. They worked their job full-time, while working part-time building their fortune. With more and more people looking for ways to make ends meet these days. The home business has done that for many, but it wasn’t easy. It takes hard work and commitment to have success. It also helps to pick the right type of business. Many choose Network Marketing/ Direct Sales and also know Multi-Level Marketing. (MLM) Many of these have low start up and low overhead costs.
One of the biggest problems faced when getting started is finding customers and new business partners. The internet has made this easier to get the word out. The key to this is to build relationships, because this is a people business. It has been called the people franchise. This business model has improved with the times to. Gone are the days when you had have an inventory of product on hand. Today most distributors only have their own products on hand for their personal use. Most of the network marketing companies provide their distributors with a website were they can send customers to learn more and purchase products and services offered. There it is in a nutshell of why everyone should start a home business. The times have changed and no longer do people work for one company and retire. Today people are lucky to have a job I heard someone say the other day.
Don’t Be Asleep at the Wheel
Don’t be asleep at the wheel. Many people go through life on cruse control or what I call asleep at the wheel. They just flow through life without a care. They live day to day. In many cases paycheck to paycheck. They are unwilling to take charge of their life. What I mean by this is, that they will not change to make their life better. They do just enough to get by. Then they wonder why there are no promotions. I myself found this way too. I have always wanted to do my best, but at times I found myself following the herd. So I found myself asleep at the wheel. Then came my wake up call. That is when I learned about personal development. This when it all started to change for me. It was a slow process at first. I am thankful for the network marketing industry, for that is were I learned about personal development. This were I was trying to improve my income and to stop the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck. There are many great books that I have read since starting my journey. I am going to give the you my top five books.
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

The Provider
The provider is the Lord. He is well able to provide! We can look through out the Bible and see His provision. We can look first at the story of the children of Israel coming out of Egypt. How He fed them for forty years in the wilderness. There are many others we could look at too. There are a number of them. The Lord is still the provider! You must seek Him out and trust Him to do what His word says. He promised to provide in His word, that He would. He keeps what He promised. Many of us try to meet our own needs. By working harder and longer. We should look at Genesis 26. Here we see the story of Isaac. There is a famine in the land. God tells Isaac to sow in famine. Then Isaac reaps a hundredfold harvest. Are we willing to be like Isaac and do what God tells us? So that He can provide for us a hundredfold return like Isaac got? There is no risk when you follow God! God is our provider when we get all the stuff out of the way. It starts here, Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Pull Down Those Walls
Tear down those walls that keep us from God’s best.
I have been reading Max Lucado’s book “Out Live Your Life“. It has been really pulling me into some
deep thought about my own walk with Christ. How much do we miss as Christians? We all have walls
that we put up to protect us. Whether it is from the hurt and pain in this world or to keep us from
getting hurt. There are many types of walls, social walls, economic walls, and denominational walls.
The thing that all these walls can do is block us from truly loving others as Christ commanded us too!
In Max’s book, he takes a lot at what the early church did and how. They tore down the walls that
separated them. He uses a few examples, and one of them being Jesus at the well with the Samartan
woman. I don’t know about you, but for many years I have wanted to do more for Christ. There have
been walls that had to come down first and slowly over time they have come down. We live in a time
like no other! There is so many that are hurting and in pain. Yes there are many dieing too! Many
of them are children. There no time like now for us to get out of our comfort zones and share the love of
Christ with people that are hurting and dieing. There many ways that we can do this. Through our
church’s we can support missionaries and other organizations, that reach those that we can not. My
church does a 30 hour famine each year to raise funds for World Vision. This is done by our teens.
We can all do a little and change the world for Christ!
What is Missing
What is missing in many families today? I would have to say it is unconditional love. There has been a gap placed between many families. We live and work further apart than ever. This started during the industrial revolution and grew after World War II ended. There was also a big move during the Great Depression, as many traveled to find work. I remember when I was growing up. Having to travel to my grandparents a few times a year. While I could jump on my bike and visit my other grandparents. It was like this for many years until my grandparents moved to Texas. Then I could no longer get on my bike to go visit.
Then I got married and had children of my own. I started to see how hard it was to really visit with family. Here we lived in Michigan, and my children’s grandparents where in Florida and Texas. This has caused many problems within the family. Many are caused by misinformation or lack of information. That caused hurt or bruised feelings. I am sure many have had this happen to. This were I say that there is a lack of unconditional love. The more I study God’s word. The more clearly I see how to love unconditionally. It comes from being able to do what Jesus said, “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” ( Matt. 6: 14-15 NIV)
The cross that Jesus shed His blood on, represents God’s unconditional love for us. He loved US so much that He gave His best for us! We must do the same and give our best. What mean by this is we need to love are families no matter what they may do or say. To not become a offended by them. This can be a hard task at times, but live in your faith and stand strong. Get a hold of this by doing a study on love in the word.
